Writing Characters 🖋️ Part 2

Another chapter in writing a memorable character according to a cephalopod.

After you’ve given them a physical trait, next we need to give them some flaws. 

No one likes perfect characters because they are unrealistic.

For a minor character, the flaw can be equally small; the old lady down the road might make an awful chocolate cake. 

But these flaws need to reflect the importance of the person to the story, so a main character’s flaws need to be more noticeable.

James Bond isn’t a memorable character for the nice things he does, after all.
